In its founding and throughout its interim, Gravity Grains is owned and stewarded by a single individual. There are no shareholders, and there never will be. When the time is right, Gravity Grains will restructure into a Benefit Corporation (B-Corp), recognized for its specific public benefit commitments and governed by democratically elected members and our bylaws.
Unlike many other institutions, Gravity Grains has the profound responsibility of exercising civic constructions that will one day transfer into being a space faring civilization in negotiation with international space law and treatise. One does not simply settle the moon with a population without deeply inspecting the consequences of doing so.

Gravity Grains is a legitimate organization and is subject to a wide range of laws. Among these are regulations that prevent us from including individuals who are not legally emancipated or whose participation is controlled by their country of origin. To protect our community within this legal reality, membership is limited to adults aged 18 and older, and excludes individuals whose governments claim ownership over their means of participation.
Your membership in Gravity Grains is deeply appreciated. Through collective action, we investigate, research, and develop everything necessary for life on Earth and life among the stars to thrive. Contributions are intentionally scaled to promote diversity and broad participation. There are no oligarchs here.
